Congratulations to Kenna Dunlap Johnson
Kenna Dunlap Johnson, director of behavioral health at Gibson Area Hospital, Gibson City, Illinois, has been awarded this year's Eagle Award for her achievements and outstanding level of service to her community. In the last 3 years, Kenna completed her MBA at the University of St. Francis. By 2013, she helped her program expand beyond geriatric care, to provide telehealth psychiatry services and extend outpatient care to children, adolescents and adults younger than 65. Now, with 4 telehealth physicians providing care and 1 onsite physician, services volumes have increased dramatically. Along with her position as director, Kenna also serves as a Crisis Prevention trainer and Mental First Aide trainer for her hospital and for her community. Kenna also serves as the National Association of Social Workers, East Central Illinois chair and has recently been elected to serve on the Farmersville Community School Board.
