(Staunton, IL) This month’s Employee Spotlight is Alisabeth Hardnock, RN, BSN, Program Manager.
“My career started over 12 years ago in long-term care serving in roles as RN, ADON, and Director of Nursing. I knew from the very beginning that my passion was with the geriatric population. In the last 5 years I have worked in acute inpatient rehabilitation, and I served in roles such as Clinical Liaison, Program Director, and I then assisted with the transition of the unit to a free standing inpatient rehabilitation hospital as the Director of Quality and Risk Management. I was fortunate to start with Senior Life Solutions at Community Hospital of Staunton in February of 2022 and have been loving every minute of being a part of this program and team. I was blessed to walk into an incredible leadership team at the hospital and an amazing SLS team. Between CHS and UltraGroup I can honestly say that in the last 12 years I have never had a role that this much support was provided. From February to October 2022 we have more than tripled our census. In the 3rd quarter of 2022 we increased our total patient days by 62% and have increased our average daily visits by 60% over the 1st Quarter of 2022. I am really enjoying being a member of the Employee Activity Committee and the Social Media Committee. I am assisting the hospital in community outreach projects and we have just had our first annual Trunk or Treat at the hospital. I am also looking forward to assisting the Director of Nursing at CHS in an upcoming project to ready the hospital for Joint Commission accreditation.
I have been a resident of Staunton, IL for 22 years and live outside of town with my husband and 7 year old son. We enjoy swimming, fishing, St. Louis Blues hockey, and Mizzou football games as a family in our free time.”
