This proverbial saying is a direct, meaningful message that encourages us to be “joyful” during what is oftentimes the most stressful season of all – Christmas!
What was meant to be such a wonderful occasion has, for many of us, has turned into a shop & grab party for anything from cheese trays to Christmas gifts. And if the pressure of so many gatherings and such a long Christmas to do list is wearing you out, we want you to get out of the “Christmas Drought” and be filled with Joy & Peace this holiday season.
Helpful Tips:
Plan in advance. Last minute plans are often stressful and lead to more Christmas anxiety.
Conquer the Christmas Dinner. Ask for help. Determine what is a must and what you can do without.
Homemade vs. Store Bought. Everything does not have to be homemade; there are many stores now that offer great catering ideas from anything from oven roasted turkey to pumpkin pie.
Family Traditions. Decide what family tradition you really do enjoy and determine if you would like to make new traditions as well.
Be Satisfied. Don’t let this world tell you that you need more gifts, more decorations, more Christmas trees, more of anything Christmas. Contentment will bring you joy & peace not only for Christmas, but for the days ahead going into 2023.
Merry Christmas and enjoy the holidays this year. We appreciate each of you!
