Carroll County Memorial Hospital Open House

(Carrollton, KY) Carroll County Memorial Hospital hosted an open house for the Empowered Living Program on May 17th to promote mental health awareness. The event was very well attended by the community and had several speakers. These guest speakers included the local Community Mental Health center, Law enforcement officers, the County attorney, and a Representative from the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Vendors and exhibitors were present from different community agencies and hosted a raffle for some of the donations that were received. Leslie Yocum, the Program Director for Empowered Living, did a fantastic job organizing and putting on the event.
