(Gibson City, IL) Vicki Angstmann, therapist at the Geriatric Behavioral Services program for Gibson Area Hospital, was interviewed by two local radio stations. Vicki did an excellent job promoting the program as well as raising awareness for mental illness in her community. During the interview, they normalized some of the common symptoms of mental illness and discussed what resources are available in the community, as well as how people can access these resources. By raising awareness for mental health, Vicki is attempting to break down the stigma and create greater access to services in her community.
