Healthy Outlook Program Hosts Lunch Program for Local Primary Care Clinic

(Monticello, KY) The Healthy Outlook program at Wayne County Hospital hosted a Lunch and Learn program for the Lakeside Primary Care Clinic. Program staff including Program Director, Amie Wilson, and Program Nurse, Amber Hall, presented to the clinic staff about how the program helps seniors in the community who are struggling with anxiety or depression. The presentation included what signs and symptoms of depression and anxiety to look out for in their patients, how to refer to the program and what the patients can expect to experience during the course of treatment. Excellent job by the Healthy Outlook staff to engage with local providers and clinicians to educate them on the different resources in the community.
