(Metropolis, IL) New Beginnings at Massac Memorial Hospital celebrated Mental Health Awareness Week with an ice cream social for their coworkers. “Freeze Your Brain on Positivity” was featured as an ice cream bar for everyone to make their own chocolate or vanilla sundae with toppings galore! Our coworkers came by on their lunch break to enjoy a sundae, chatted with staff members and learned more about New Beginnings. It was a pleasure to see so many fellow hospital employees back inside our Department after being closed for 2 years. On their way out, everyone received a New Beginnings brochure and handouts with ideas to keep themselves mentally healthy!
