(Chipley, FL) Senior Enrichment from Northwest Florida Community Hospital, sponsored the September Birthday Party at Council on Aging in Washington County. This event celebrates all of the birthdays for seniors in the month of September. The Washington County Council on Aging is a Not-for-Profit organization that provides in-home and on-site services for the aging and disabled community of Washington County, Florida. Program Director, Connie Smelcer, said “We love to partner with our community organizations who serve our senior citizens.” These types of community engagement activities are a great way to connect with the community and spread awareness for both mental illness as well as your programs.
