(Fairfield, IL) The Senior Life staff at Fairfield Memorial Hospital attended the Great Give Away in September at the First Christian Church in Fairfield, IL. Program staff who attended the event passed out 200+ bags of goodies to people in need. This event began in 2010 as an idea to help families in the community of Fairfield, IL by providing usable clothing and household items to families in need. The event provides lunch to all who attend as well as representatives from Grief Share, a grief recovery group that meets at First Christian, and the Alzheimer’s Support Group. Great job to the staff at Senior Life for participating in the event.
