Senior Wellness Program at Aspirus Ironwood Welcomes New Therapist



(Ironwood, MI) Aspirus Ironwood's Senior Wellness Program welcomes a new addition to its team, therapist Jenessa Rotter, LLMSW, CSW, whose extensive educational background and diverse professional interests promise to enrich the program's offerings. With a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Globe University, a Certificate of Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Stout, and a Master of Social Work degree from Walden University, Jenessa brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role.


Jenessa’s professional interests are wide-ranging, encompassing preventative mental health care, the interplay between systems and its impact on care delivery, and the intersection of the criminal justice system with mental health services. She also holds a special focus on caring for individuals with dual diagnoses and serving the LGBTQIA+ community. Beyond her professional endeavors, Jenessa finds joy in the great outdoors, often spending her free time on the lake with her family and beloved dogs. Additionally, she enjoys the art of cooking and canning, and finds relaxation in the pages of a good book. With her blend of professional dedication and personal passions, Jenessa is poised to make a meaningful impact on the well-being of the seniors in the Aspirus Ironwood community.
